| Awas Diblokir! Besok Batas Akhir Registrasi Ulang SIM Card |
Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika kembali menegaskan batas akhir dari registrasi SIM card prabayar ini tetap pada 1 Mei 2018. Registrasi sekarang jika tak mau kena blokir.
Disampaikan, pemblokiran total seluruh layanan nomor kartu prabayar layanan seluler yang belum meregistrasi telah dilakukan mulai 16 April. Nomor-nomor tersebut diberi kesempatan untuk meregistrasi sampai dengan 30 April, di mana diblokir total per 1 Mei 2018.
Pemblokiran layanan total tersebut, meliputi panggilan dan SMS keluar, panggilan dan SMS masuk, serta layanan data internet.
Hal ini sebagaimana diatur pada Ketetapan Badan Regulasi Telekomunikasi Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 2018 tentang Petunjuk Pelaksanaan Registrasi Kartu Prabayar Seluler.
Dirjen Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika (PPI) Kementerian Kominfo Ahmad M. Ramli, menyampaikan operator seluler wajib melakukan pemblokiran sebagaimana ditegaskan di atas, yaitu pada 1 Mei 2018. Pemblokiran tersebut bagi pelanggan lama yang belum saja melakukan registrasi ulang.
"Kecuali layanan SMS Registrasi ke 4444 yang tepat terlayani sepanjang masa laku kartu belum berakhir," kata Ramli dalam pernyataannya kepada detikINET, Minggu (29/4/2018).
Oleh karena itu, bagi pelanggan yang terblokir total tetap dapat melakukan registrasi melalui SMS ke nomor 4444, telepon ke call center penyedia layanan dan kanal registrasi lainnya yang disediakan, seperti melalui menu USSD dan portal selama masa aktif kartu prabayar belum habis.
"Dengan melakukan registrasi ulang maka layanan telekomunikasi dapat dipulihkan seperti semula," kata Ramli.
Pemerintah meminta masyarakat yang belum registrasi segera melakukan registrasi kartu prabayarnya. Imbauan juga ditujukan agar setiap orang menggunakan NIK dan Nomor KK secara benar dan berhak.
Secara khusus, Ramli meminta kepada perusahaan-perusahaan apapun untuk turut memberikan perlindungan dan kenyaman masyarakat dalam mendapatkan layanan telekomunikasi.
"Dalam rangka melindungi data pribadi dan menciptakan kenyamanan masyarakat, diimbau perusahaan-perusahaan seperti perbankan, kartu kredit, asuransi, peritel, TV kabel dan perusahaan lainnya yang bersentuhan dengan nomor telepon pelanggan agar menghindari marketing berupa menghubungi calon pelanggan via telepon dan SMS yang datanya diperoleh secara tanpa hak", tutur Ramli.
